We discussed Timeflies tuesdays, The Scotch Tape success, their music style and more. I’d like to thank EXP Promotions and Freshletes for putting this on as well as Timeflies for taking the time out for the interview! The video was shot and edited by Jon Murakami.
Videos | Timeflies Tuesday – Ass Back Home
Posted by LoffyG on February 29, 2012
Timeflies just finished their Scotched Up tour throughout the Midwest. This Timeflies Tuesday installment wraps up the tour, showing footage from various shows. Rez sampled “Ass Back Home” by Gym Class Heroes and Cal freestyles over it about the past weeks. Another solid production by the duo. We had a small set back on the release of the interview we did with them while they were on tour. Hopefully we will see that tomorrow!

My man Gaines drops new visuals for his “Party” track featuring Mod Sun. I actually came out for this video shoot and it was a great time. You can catch me in some shots wearing the Freshletes hoodie jumping around! This video was shot by 13twentythree and is another dope production of his, it fits the song perfectly. Overall the track is dope, Gaines and Mod Sun both hit it on the head! If you haven’t heard of Gaines you should check him out. He recently dropped his album, The Night Crawler you can get that here. Be sure to grab the mp3 download after the jump!

Hip-Hop | Mod Sun – All Night Every Night ft. The Ready Set [Music Video]
Posted by LoffyG on February 27, 2012
Mod Sun delivers a fresh set of visuals for “All Night Every Night” off his recent Blazed by the Bell mixtape. The visuals definitely go hand in hand with the song showing off Mod’s party all night every night lifestyle. He just recently returned from Malibu, California where he finished recording his upcoming project, Happy As Fuck. Be sure to stay on the lookout for that and follow Mod Sun on Facebook & Twitter.
Hip-Hop, Videos | Cam Meekins – Cut Me Off [Music Video]
Posted by LoffyG on February 27, 2012
Finally, after waiting over a year since Cam last did a video we have something new. He directed the video himself and I think that it’s very unique. Wearing masks of various celebrity faces, the Mac Miller one definitely had me laughing. The video aside, I’m diggin’ this track and can’t wait to see what Cam’s album has in store. You can grab the download after the jump! Check out Cam on Facebook & Twitter.

Albums, Alternative | Radical Something – No Sweat EP [Review]
Posted by LoffyG on February 26, 2012
While the crisp winter breeze may still be in the air for some of us unfortunate northerners, California’s warm weather is back in our speakers. Radical Something just released their second project, a six track EP entitled No Sweat. We’ve shown tons of love for these guys since the start and are proud to be involved in this project.
As you probably know by now, their music and sound is much different than anything that’s out right now and that’s what makes them unique. Big Red smashes the MPC and production (and even throws down a mystery verse on “Say Yes” at about the 1:30 mark), Loggy dishes out the hip-hop side of things while Josh Cocktails boasts his powerful voice, adding flavor to every track. What is most impressive to me about this group is their ability to work cohesively and offer versatility while maintaining their sound. Hearing their music always brightens the mood. This has a much different vibe than We Are Nothing their debut album which dropped towards the end of last summer and shows the progression from the trio. The No Sweat EP is out now on iTunes for only $2.99 get it here!
Radical Something let us release “Say Yes” as an exclusive for the fans. You can also listen to a preview of each track on the album below. Let the beat breathe and be easy, RS has done it again.
