Iran born, India based actress, model and dancer Elnaaz Norouzi steps into the world of music with her first ever single via “La La Love”.  This is the first piece of music (or visuals) I’ve seen by this artist but it was quite impressive, probably due to her modeling/acting background. A catchy song and video right here, so be sure to check out the video for her debut track “La La Love” above now and read a quote from her on the release after the jump!

La La Love’ to me is my first born. I can’t think much of what the words mean to me but when I think of ‘La La Love’ I remember how my journey of music started and how long it has been that I’ve been holding on to this song before I can show it to the world.

This is a summer soaked track about relationships, so its feel-good but also real at the same time. Watch the visual above now and read a quote from Jeremy on the release below!

“Postcards is a song about the ups and downs of relationships, people feel like they are alone when they suffer difficulties in relationships, it’s more common than people admit. This isn’t a sad song, it’s a song about acceptance and accepting that difficulties are often part of the journey to finding that solid connection. It’s a very upside-down world we’re living in right now. It’s hard to see people agreeing on anything, but this is one thing I feel like everyone can agree on. Sometimes we just can’t live with or without each other.”

“Postcards” showcases Jeremy Loops distinctive vocals, flowing melodies, and sunshine-soaked hooks. The song’s inspiration draws from the unique relationship pressures of occupational travel and long distances. A complicated situation for most relationships that have to deal with both issues. This is the first piece of music i’ve heard from Jeremy Loops but it surely won’t be the last, I am impressed.

Electronic | Axel Thesleff Drops New Track, “2 Down”

Posted by on December 11, 2020

Axel Thesleff recently put out an uplifting melodic bass infused single and music video for a track called “2 Down” and it’s a feel good track that is much needed with everything going on in the world right now. The single represents letting go of the cycle of negativity to welcome one’s inner light and forgiveness. Ethereal vocals and synths in flux pair with a mother’s journey through meadows and streams of Lapland as she overcomes the worst of sufferings and finds a gratitude towards life. Check out a quote from Axel on the release and the visual below, under that watch the video for “2 Down “. Enjoy!

“The 2 Down music video depicts a journey of a lonely backpacker in a vast, dreamlike landscape of a never-ending mountain range. The traveler seems to be completely lost in thought. Painful memories start to arise from the past and she is forced to dive into them. She must fight the demons of guilt, blame, and sorrow within in order to break free from this mental dissonance and find forgiveness, acceptance, and gratitude to replace them. The story is about overcoming the worst of sufferings and clearing one’s mind from agony. It’s about facing one’s deepest fears and painful emotions head-on and growing from them as a person. No one is perfect and sometimes one needs acceptance in order to move forward in life and strive to do one’s best. Life is short, and we should be spending it loving each other instead of fighting. Ultimately, 2 Down is about gratitude towards life”. -Axel

Alternative | Earl Gray Collective’s “This House” is Eye Opening

Posted by on September 27, 2020

South London based four piece band Earl Gray Collective’s new single ‘This House’ propels their artistry to a deeper and more musing level as the lyricism takes an introspective turn. The listener is taken on a story-like exploration of self understanding. The fluidity of the instrumentals elegantly begin whilst emphatically building, defined by tender piano keys and rich, mellow guitar strums, coated in irresistable harmonic vocals. Listen to the song above now and check out a quote from the band below!

‘This House’ is a song that really takes you on a journey, the lyrics describe an eye opening moment in my life when I realised I had some unhealthy and sometimes unconscious biases that I needed to confront and deal with. We really tried to capture that journey in the song leaving loads of space for the story and the structure to develop and ultimately to create this moment of real unity at the end.”
