Posted by on July 23, 2012

Sadly, we are now over half way through the #SummerOfRad of series with this being week #7. No worries though because the guys have much more in store for the fans in the future. This weeks song starts off with a nice slow acoustic then about 40 seconds in it has almost a reggae sound to it. These guys are going nowhere but up so be sure to follow them on their social media networks!

The California trio is now half way into the Summer of Rad series! Yes, this does mean summer is half way over, but at least we’ve had the chance to enjoy some good music along the way! This week the topic is Santa Barbara, a beautiful beach town north of Los Angeles where the Rad crew has partied and had good times. Speaking of Los Angeles, tomorrow Radical Something has a show with Sammy Adams at the House of Blues! Tickets are still available here.

“Let’s not be blind to see that all we need’s a little peace of mind
So lately I don’t get no answers
I guess we gotta wait for tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow”

This new Radical Something track marks the 5th week in the Summer Of Rad series. Honestly, this is my favorite track they’ve released so far this summer. It has such a soulful vibe to it you can’t help but love it. Songs like these are what make Radical Something so special. The way these three guys produce music together works so well and that’s why they’ve risen to the point they’re at over this past year. Can’t wait to see what these next 7 releases have to offer. Follow Radical Something below and check out the previous Summer Of Rad releases here.

Also Radical Something has a big show coming up on 7/17 at House Of Blues in Los Angeles with Sammy Adams! You can get tickets for that here.

As many of you know Radical Something just recently finished off the No Sweat Spring Tour. I was fortunate enough to kick it with the guys for a couple days during their stop in Minneapolis, MN where we filmed this exclusive interview. I talked with the guys about a ton of stuff from how they got the Radical name to the craziest thing a Rad Fan has done. Check out the interview and don’t forget Radical Something is dropping a new song every Monday for the next 10 weeks! If you missed the first two releases you can get those here!

The second installment in the #SummerOfRad series has arrived. The guys have been off to a great start, releasing “Sky Is Born” last week along with a greatest hits album to celebrate one year as a group. I heard this upbeat jam in its early stages of production when we met up back in April, and I have to say the final product is nothing less than good vibes. Catch up with the guys on their social networks below!
