Hip-Hop | Atlanta Rapper Bella Blaq Oozes Confidence In New Single “Hands On Me”

Posted by on December 4, 2020

Based in Atlanta, rising rapper Bella Blaq is ready to unleash her statement making sound into the mainstream. Her bangin’ new single “Hands On Me” is the first of a string of tracks due out in the coming months. All of which form part of a collaboration with Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum producer Epikh Pro (Bryson Tiller, Cardi B, Eminem).

“Hands On Me” was written to make a statement about Bella’s trials and tribulations experienced as a Black woman in the music industry. Whilst the beat itself is ripe for getting bodies moving in clubs, the lyrics feel like a middle finger to the serious issues that plague the business such as racism and sexism.

While Bella Blaq may be a relative newcomer on the scene, “Hands On Me” cements her place as a serious contender in the rap world. Her cadence intertwines seamlessly with the trap beat behind her – brought to life by a quiet confidence that draws some serious parallels to the swagger of Cardi B or Saweetie.
