Dubstep | Krewella – One Minute (Eliminate Remix)

Posted by on September 21, 2011

As if “One Minute” by Krewella wasn’t a sick enough song, Eliminate came along and put together this sick remix. Krewella sent this over to us and we have to agree, the drop is nasty.

Mashups | Middy’s Mashups

Posted by on August 30, 2011

Ok so some of these are technically bootlegs, but Middy’s bootlegs does not sound nearly as good as Middy’s mashups. I am in that picture somewhere in the front right. It was taken by Chuckie after his set and this is a bootleg he made for Identity.

Here is a mashup from Romain G, who mashes the popular Nicky Romero remix of Flash by Green Velvet with Flashback and Awooga from Calvin Harris and Axwell’s remix of In the Air.

This is the latest mashup from Kaskade and this is one of his best. It probably deserves its own post but this post needs to be amazing. The mashup takes Don’t Stop Dancing and adds Kissing from Alex Gaudino, which gives the beat that little extra that may have been missing in the original.

This is a bootleg of the classic A-Trak remix of Heads Will Roll and Zero 76. The transitions are great and has been supported by many DJs including Tiesto and Martin Solvieg.

Dubstep | The Other Side Of Dubstep, Torus

Posted by on August 26, 2011

Dubstep is more than just mindless heavy basslines as some of you haters tend to think. Dubstep is versatile, it can be used in any way imaginable. Some would call this GIRLFIRE, but I admit I really like this track. Torus usually does very heavy, hard hitting dubstep. This track is smooth and full of emotion. I have said it before, there are no rules of dubstep. Torus has proven that.

Dubstep | Klaypex – “Lights”

Posted by on August 20, 2011

I have never heard of Klaypex until now. They dropped a new EP called “Loose Dirt” a week or so ago. Honestly, it’s ok, not great but not bad. This one track on the other hand is awesome. The vocals go great but once you hit that drop you are sold on the track. If you are interested, you can grab their whole EP on their WEBSITE.

Dubstep | Lil’ Scrappy – “Money In The Bank” (NEUS Remix)

Posted by on August 18, 2011

Neus’ last few tracks have been bomb! His last release was a sweet electro-house track, and this one is some sick dubstep. Someone the other day complained that some dubstep instead of dancing to 1,2,1,2,1,2,3,1,2 you get 1,2,1,3,5,7,8,4,34,65,7,235987342958763. Dubstep is one of the most versitile genres of music, there are no rules. So cheers, to all of you who believe the rules were meant to be broken. Enjoy.

Mashups | DJ Trademark – Push To Start

When you combine the power of massive tracks from artists like LMFAO, New Boyz, Dev, Lil Jon, Britney, etc. do you know what you end up with? Yes, you guessed it, another f*cking massive mashup anthem. If you’ve just arrived at your college dorm and want to immediately make some friends (while getting all the girls wet) just throw this on deck.

There’s nothing better than coming across those tracks that feature uplifting melodies followed by infectious drops that are all just perfected by some foreign goddess’s vocals. She’s always singing about something way too deep for you to care about, but you still nod your head and completely agree with whatever she’s saying, just cause the song sounds that good. Here’s a few of those minus the fact the third song’s vocals is a dude. Classic mixup.
