Bodyroll ~ MMVIII EP

Facebook | SoundCloud | Twitter

Rook Milo’s camp just sent over the first single “Bodyroll”  off his upcoming EP, released via MMVIII , sampling the sexy Rihanna, and this is one you can smoke to, get laid to, pretty much do anything trill to, shit have your girl strip for you to this tune, and excuse my bravado on this post, but it’s hard to not feel like a G when you’re bumping this tune. Bass heavy, synth heavy, quit playing and just press play, and look out for Rook’s upcoming Ep! This is a must listen!

Progressive House | Christopher Blake feat. Jenny Karr – White Nights

Posted by on June 24, 2014

There are times when I come across a song and for a number of possible reasons, it makes me suspicious. When an individual by the name of Kathy dropped a link to a song in our chat box advertising it, in broken english, as the “song of tomorrorland”, I was expecting to be disappointed once I heard it and come back after my listen to delete the link, like I do all the submissions people put in the chat box. I actually really enjoyed the song however, and there was a pretty young lady dancing in the music video which just added to the enjoyment. After some in depth research, five or so minutes, I found that the producer of this song, Christopher Blake, not only doesn’t have a Soundcloud account, but judging by his Facebook page that was created less than a month ago, this is his first song. I am currently writing this on a Monday night, the scariest of nights, and this story only gets freakier. This song is the first single for the label behind the track, devilfish records. They have not released anything prior.

Even though this whole situation is extremely suspicious, the song is awesome. I even bought it on Beatport, something I never do, except for sometimes. If anyone has any more information on this, feel free to let me know. Until then, you can grab the song from the Beatport link below.

Progressive House | Arias – Deepfield

Posted by on June 7, 2014

arias deepfieldIt is remarkable what Arias has been able to put together in these past two years. Tunes like “Majoris”, “Andromeda” and “Solar” are all one of a kind incredible and you can add his first single of 2014, “Deepfield” to that mix as well. The first vocal track from the Parian in a MINUTE, Arias brings that signature big progressive sound that s found in so few records today. Even bigger for Arias is his record on Size Records, “Footsteps” with Greg Ceronne, which Steve Angello has been playing heavily ever since Ultra. Watch out for the renaissance of Arias.

Progressive House | Didrick – A Part Of You

Didrick - A Part Of You

Didrick is a young producer from Sweden who has flown under the radar of pretty much everybody not from that area. He has done official remixes for Avicii & Nicky Romero’s “I Could Be The One” as well as Cazzette’s “Beam Me Up” and yet he is not very well known. It’s safe to say the main reason for that is because his catalogue of releases is extremely small, with just those two songs being on it. Another entry to that catalogue was made however when Didrick released his first single, “A Part Of You”, not long ago. Quite simply, the song is really good. If he keeps making tracks like this then there’s no doubt he’ll become just as household a name as Ryan Seacrest. Sadly, the song is only out in Scandinavian countries at the moment so give his Facebook a like and stay up to date on the worldwide release. He says it’ll be soon.

Electro, Trap | StéLouse – Joyride

StéLouse - Joyride

Here’s a melodic trap banger for ya’ll, that’s just as G as it’s title, “Joyride” by StéLouse. Serving as the first single off his EP “The City” released via Australian label Die High Records, you know you’re in for a ride. The melody on this tune is just too smooth, accompanied with exotic vibes, and an overall West Coast flow, I’ve had this tune on repeat for the past 20 minutes, and it sounds so clear, you’re going to feel this one. This is def a must listen and a must download!

Pop, Videos | King Deco — One (Prod. Felix Snow)

1622413_566100073476501_852637285_oKing Deco is going to be a star. This Duke grad and pop newcomer has a penchant for invoking Cleopatra, and one of the most captivating, mellifluous voices you’ll hear from anyone without a major label deal (or maybe even with). Given the constant routine and monotony that pervades pop music, it’s enlivening to hear and see an artist whose sound and aesthetic seems much more reflective of their authentic selves and sensibilities, rather than what is most marketable. “One”, the first single from her upcoming EP, was produced by Felix Snow, and features Deco’s rich, resonant vocals and writing over a seductive beat laden with ambient synths. Tigris is due out this month, and will also include the writing and production of Kinetics & One Love, Ryland Blackinton (of Cobra Starship), and ASTR’s Adam Pallin.
