Posted by on February 23, 2020

Releases on Disciple, tours dates in most months of 2019, and plenty of DJ support is a bit of makes up MADRECKLESS uniqueness constantly being recognized. “1 On 1,” which was taken on, flipped, and intersected with the artists’ truculent’ bass style. Well-timed pounding and outrageously appropriate bass chops enlighten the original work laid down by MADRECKLESS.

With releases going back as far at 2017, the Miami-based artists maturely and production evolution can be heard through his discography, the DJ now primed for big things in 2020.

Exicision has since teased another flip of MADRECKLESS, this time his work “Lockdown” receiving the love. The single isn’t out yet, but given the slight reveal and the channels it’s being heard on, don’t sleep on the guy another night.

It has been an eventful past few months for ID&T, the people behind such illustrious festivals as Sensation, Mysterland, Tomorrowland and now TomorrowWorld. SFX recently bought a 75% stake in the company for close to a cool 100 million dollars, and then announced the expansion of Tomorrowland globally, landing stateside in Chatahoochee Farms, Georgia, just outside of Atlanta.

Two stages have already been announced, the “All Your Bass Are Belong to Us” featuring the likes of Rusko, Zomboy, Delta Heavy, Savoy, NiT GriT, Excision, Sound Remedy, Gramatik, Grandtheft and Figure, as well as the Q-Dance stage for hardstyle. DO SOMETHING

Dubstep | Excision, Downlink, & Space Laces – Raise Your Fist

Posted by on November 15, 2012

Destroyed is the joining of three of Dubstep’s epic filth mongers, Excision, Downlink, & Space Laces. Their plan so it seems is to destroy our ears with some of the dirtiest Dubstep to be released. So far… I believe they are succeeding. This track owns face, sending a monster of bass through your eardrums, exiting through your mouth in a “wow.” Jump on this nasty track, it’s a game changer.

Dubstep | Excision – Shambhala 2012 Dubstep Mix

Posted by on November 1, 2012

Excision has set a standard for his past Shambhala mixes, so you should know what you are getting yourself into when downloading this mix. This mix is created for the select few who can handle the heaviest, grimiest, craziest dubstep tracks all combined into one, one hour and half long mix.  Containing some new unreleased bangers from the man himself along with what seems to be like his new go to collaboration team with Downlink and Space Laces. I have been able to go through the mix once so far, and it is mixed to a near perfection. Don’t miss the free download to what could be, and probably is, the best dubstep mix of the year.

Dubstep | Excision, Downlink – Crowd Control (Delta Heavy Remix)

Posted by on August 14, 2012

The highly anticipated Excision and Downlink “X-Rated Remix Album” finally has a release date set for September 3rd featuring some of the biggest names in EDM on this list such as Dirtyphonics, Elite Force, Eptic, Lucky Date, Far Too Loud, Loadstar, Xilent, Specimen A, SPACE LACES, Calyx & TeeBee, and more. This is going to be a MASSIVE remix album to say the least. To hold us over until then Excision saw fit to release these two remixes of Crowd Control by Delta Heavy and Pixel Fist. Delta Heavy smashed their heavy drumstep remix with some of their gritty synths and fast paced drums. Pixel Fist fell a little short on their remix in my opinion, not really contributing anything out of the ordinary. You can get both remixes on Beatport HERE.

Events, Review | Identity Festival Philadelphia 7/29 Recap

Posted by on August 3, 2012

Identity Festival made its triumphant return to Philadelphia with a quality lineup for all tastes with the likes of Arty, Madeon, Noisa, Excision, the master Eric Prydz and more. Though the lineup may not have been as stacked as last year as booking fees have risen astonishingly high in the last year, causing ticket prices to go even higher (or the other way around, chicken and the egg) the lineup was still very good and Identity Festival is going to provide an excellent show with outstanding visuals at a great price. It is something that we are seeing less and less these days.

The day started off with good sets from upstarts like “The Eye” and “Le Castle Vania” and when 5 rolled around it was time for Noisa to grace the stage with their eclectic Drum N Bass style, kicking the night into full gear. Pulling from a full array of their own songs as well as Electro and Dubstep tracks from others, Noisa’s set helped bring the festival to energy level it needed to be at with the crowd levels coming to their peak capacity. Pictures are now up on Facebook. Hit the jump for more of the recap.
