Matt Medved, a Senior Editor at Billboard also has a side gig producing music under the name Sicarii. His latest release, a remix of Maroon 5’s “Sugar,” is a breath of fresh air for the original. Calling on some unique influences, Sicarii brings together the calming sounds of a reverberating steel drum and steady kick for this standout, Maroon 5-supported remix of the pop anthem. The remix was originally debuted live during his Billboard Hot 100 Festival set, where he played alongside some of the biggest names in music.
