Two big new tracks from one of our favorite duos out of France, the Tune In Crew. The first is a high energy, drum n’ bass-infused remix of Max Frost’s “White Lies,” which switches up the vocal blend of the original while weaving in a rich combination of live instruments (is that a maracas?). An unexpected but wonderfully seamless trap break mellows out the vibe midway through before the track hurtles back into a spray of fast-paced kicks. The second track switches gears considerably; drawing inspiration from epic movie soundtracks, the twangy, instrumental “Still Waters” is yearning and bluesy and would no doubt be right at home in a Tarantino montage.
