Lorde – Team

A 16 year old girl from New Zealand has hit the music world by storm with her hit single “Royals,” and it doesn’t seem like the hype is going to die any time soon. Yesterday, Lorde released another track, “Team,” off her upcoming album Heroine. Truthfully I’m not sure I get the hype behind this artist, nor the hit-factor behind her tracks, though I can’t deny that I am impressed by Lorde’s talent, and how fast her music has taken off. “Team” is minimalist in production, layered with thoughtful lyrics, which are sung in a Lana del Rey fashion.
