DJ Smiles released The State of the Come-Up this past January, featuring some of the hottest rising rappers in the game, and while we anxiously await the next volume of the series, Smiles tides us over with “Twerk Trap”. Kendrick Lamar enlists Young Jeezy for this brand new track produced by Canei Finch, also mixed by Ali. Classic Kendrick flow on this one with a nice laid back soulful beat to compliment it, and as usual Jeezy kills it. Be on the lookout for more Kendrick, he’s definitely on the come up right now.

Says Young Jeezy, regarding his swimming abilities. I’m not surprised, as Young Jeezy is likely too busy selling drugs to learn how to swim. That Young Jeezy sure has a captivating personality, as Nardwuar pulls out the usual stops to talk about things that happened ten years ago. No wonder why Jeezy’s “TM103” flopped. Just another rapper taking themselves way too seriously. Kanye shrug. Below are my favorite comments:
