Progressive House | Will Vance’s “Days Go By” Single Strong Tease To Upcoming Ep

Posted by on February 22, 2017

Will Vance from Portland, Oregon gives us a taste of his refreshing EP out not on Think Tnk Records. Think Tnk Records is based in Denver, Colorado and releases a variety of genres from chill to rock to tech house. Will Vance attributes his impeccable taste in music to his introduction of folk music from a young age with its cheerful and vibrant melodies combined with reassuring vocals. Will Vance can be compared to the likes of Adam Beyer, Dusky, Yotto, and Hot Since 82 with his new release “Days Go By.” The single “Days Go By” begins with eccentric melodic pads that dive into a progressive styled drop with vocals that add just the right flavor to the track. Being a teaser off of his EP, this track raises the bar for what we can expect from the rest of the EP.

After being expelled from piano lessons at the age of 12, William Vance took the first steps down a musical career pathway. Learning guitar, piano, and synthesizers to computers, the years in-between then and now have somehow luckily turned that artful child into a talented electronic producer. Will states that his influences come from Dusky, Yotto, and Amtrac and its safe to say that he resembles them in this stylish new record. With his breakout Days Go By EP to release in early 2017, Will showcases his particular blend of progressive, deep, and atmospheric sounds. Bringing minutia and structure to the breaths between beats, the beauty truly is in the details. To check out his release on Think Tnk Records, peep the link above.
