Over here at FNT we’re die hard DIEHIGH fans so it came as no surprise that I was instantly hooked by one of their latest releases showcasing LA-based newcomer Ostra. This EP is pretty interesting considering the two very different approaches taken with each track. The first, “Won’t Do” will cater perfectly for those Wave Racer fans out there meanwhile the second is a fascinating collage of latin guitar, Mr.Carmack-esque trap, and crowds chanting. Diggin’ the originality. Cop this EP and keep an eye out for future releases from this newbie.

SevnthSundays are always excellent! The release this week is a little different though, since it’s lacking the normal heavy R&B influence. SevnthWonder’s remix of “Mirage” by Mitch Murder is fresh and light. SevnthWonder stated that the influences for this remix were Wave Racer and Cashmere Cat. Featuring heavily altered vocals and an airy melody, this track will take your mind away. Today we have this fantastic rendition of Wave Racer’s newest single, Streamers, remixed by Ryan Hemsworth. The beginning is very Vic Mensa suitcase-esque but as the song continues on it offers so many different sounds, it’s as if the whole song is broken down and simplified. If you have yet to listen to the original, then get your head out of your behind and get in tune with this Australian producer who will soon be on tour with Disclosure. Wave Racer has been one of my favorite new artists with his bouncy take on so many different songs. The Future Classic label is stacked and Australia is budding with emerging new producers and Wave Racer is at the forefront. The whistles mixed with the bouncy bass and catchy synths are magical. This one is going to be on repeat forever, and I’ve already been stuck on his Always Remix, which I will post below. Get in tune with Wave Racer and his social media outlets below and show some love!
