The new track follows on from his debut single ‘Reflection’ earlier this year that gained him huge support from national and regional press and radio. The UK based singer/songwriter has been working on music his entire life and keeps pushing the envelope in his musical output. Canadian singer/songwriter and Platinum-certified pop artist Jocelyn Alice has co-written tracks featured in the hit TV shows One Tree Hill and Pretty Little Liars, the movie Dear Santa, and more. Outside of that, she’s had some great success in her solo career and her latest offering is entitled “Baby Girl” and is a catchy tune that has some major replay value. More electronically infused than most of his prior work, the steady thumping kick drum, glossy topline, and keyboard stabs layered with lush synths all come together for a futuristic jam that has a great vibe to it. “intothedeep is probably my favourite song on the whole record. I was a bit self-indulgent with the synths and the sound design on this one and didn’t hold back! The song sort of sucks you right in with a wall of sound as soon as the drum fill hits and then it spits you back out for a little bit before a totally different wall of sound at the one-minute mark. I’ve mentioned previously that the EP is loosely themed around climate change. I suppose this is the “ocean” song. I can imagine it being played with a powerful stormy ocean in the background.” –44 Ardent
