With the “Stay Young” music video reaching over 100k views in little over a week and the song getting steady rotation on radio across the country, Silver Medallion decided to release GTA’s epic remix of the track for free. The acclaimed duo, Miami’s Van Toth and JWLS, took the “Stay Young” vocal and turned it from a Pop/EDM singalong to a huge big room house destroyer that reminds me a bit like a Swedish House Mafia track. Along with the release, a short video edit by CFLO for the remix was released as well. Download the track for free below and blast it loud. R.I.P. to former Silver Medallion member Abay “Carnegie” Lattin who was tragically killed by a drunk driver two years from today.

In anticipation of his upcoming Xanaxland project, Silver Medallion just released a brand new DJ mix of 30 minutes of the best Trap out today. It’s day three of fashion week and even though I’m a minor twitter celebrity I still haven’t seen Kanye West pop out and perform at a Ted Baker store yet so I’m pretty disappointed. On the plus side i got to see Icona Pop “DJ” at a pretentious french restaurant, but then someone told me Buddha from Ace of Base was doin a public interpretive performance in meatpacking district but it only ended up being a homeless german man wearing the same smock I saw at the Raf Simons presentation giving out the password to a secret Flosstradamus show behind a Chipotle in chinatown.
Anyway, recorded this mix at a fucking sick rave with all my bros while wearing my fav “I Dub to Fuckstep” t-shirt.” – Silver Medallion

With Silver Medallion’s great vocals and Dstar’s killer production, the song has been a favorite of mine for quite some time now and it was recently even spun by Chuckie himself on BBC Radio. As everyone heads back to school, make sure you add this to your party playlists. You only live once, so “stay young” while you can. Someone in the chatbox asked for more Trap music, so I’m going to deliver. Although, I’m not the biggest fan of the genre, it is growing on me and I have Udachi to thank for that. His Trap remix of Nero’s “Reaching Out” is a monster track and his remix of Silver Medallion’s “Stay Young” is no different as he flips it into a trapped out summer jam. His remix is one of two remixes available on Silver Medallion’s Stay Young EP out now on Beatport.

For the next big single to be released on DJ Benzi’s Get Right Records comes Silver Medallion’s “Stay Young”, an addicting vocal house jam produced by Dstar (1/2 of Solidisco), that’s sure to be stuck in your heads all summer. “Stay Young” is the second single to be released via Get Right Records with the first being his popular hit “All I Ask” featuring Shwayze. The single will be released along with a full remix pack on July 10th on Beatport/iTunes and will include remixes from GTA and Udachi as well as the extended and instrumental versions of “Stay Young”.
