In his first release since his collaborative efforts on “Colors”, Paris Blohm has taken on the task of remixing Seven Lions and Myon & Shane 54’s “Strangers”. The remix has his typical full sounding production which keeps itself in the pleasant middle ground between the uplifting sound and the harder hitting stuff.

I am a little late with this preview, but Lush & Simon flex their melodic muscles once again with Bingo Staar’s country tinged tune “Dust Bowl Children”. There is no release date yet, but stay tuned for this one that has already been supported by the biggest DJs around. Coming up, the vocal mix of “City Of Lights” is on its way and they have a new single with Tom Swoon coming soon on Ultra Music, so be on the lookout for a preview that should be uploaded any day now.

The original samples the vocals from The Knocks breakout single, “The Feeling” and now those vocals go through another remix treatment. Kastra keeps the indie-dance flavor of the original, but adds an upbeat twist to it with a bed of driving chords over the cheery melody from AObeats & Manila Killa. Happy Thanksgiving to you all. May your hangover quickly subside and you be ready for some football and the best meal of the year. One of my favorites putting out tracks in 2013, Frenchman Arias is back with another great celestial themed original “Viirgo”. Arias builds on the sound he has crafted in 2013 that is uniquely his own, while still evolving in the framework of driving, progressive melodies that make his tracks so special. The preview is only a minute long, but the picture is very clear on the quality of the track in that minute.

With so many other DJ personalities to attend to and a blossoming career on the rise, it’s understandable we haven’t seen much from Cashmere Cat recently. However, yesterday this kitty premiered his newest track, “With Me,” via Pitchfork and Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 show. It’s everything you love about Cashmere Cat, with the distinctive beats, tambourines, soft piano chords, and those gentle builds that cascade one into the next. But “With Me” feels almost a little bit more intimate and softhearted than some of his previous work. Like a Drake ballad, this is the kind of song that when you listen to it alone, makes you feel like it was created just for you.
And it seems there’s more to look forward to! This song is just a preview of Cashmere’s “Wedding Bells” EP, set to release in January via LuckyMe Records. Fingers crossed the kitty doesn’t get cold feet! =^.^=
