After releasing videos for “Cake Boy” and “FIFA” in the past weeks, Hoodie Allen’s latest mixtape, “Crew Cuts”, is finally here. Morgantown’s very own, Huey Mack, gives us his latest video for “Middle Finger Music” off the A Boy Named Hue mixtape. This is one of my favorites off the project. I remember when Huey showed Mike Stud and myself this track back at his hotel the night we filmed our “On the Spot” interview. Knew it was a banger ever since. Huey just cracked off his first headlining tour so make sure you catch him in your city!

Last week I had the opportunity to sit down with Sammy Adams for an “On The Spot” Interview while he was doing a show in Minneapolis, MN. I go beyond the average interview questions you would expect to hear in an interview. We talk about a variety of topics from what wakes him up in the morning to the best date spot in Massachusetts. The interview aside, the show was awesome and he performed some unreleased music. One song being “All Night Longer” which he recently filmed a video for that’s going to be released in the near future! If you haven’t already grabbed “Only One” on iTunes you can buy that here!

I caught up with Hoodie Allen in Minneapolis, MN and took a few minutes to give him my “On The Spot” interview. Hoodie was definitely a good match for this style, all his answers were thoughtful and more than a simple yes or no. Aside from the interview, the show was amazing and I was surprised at how many people came out. If it wasn’t sold-out it was definitely very close. He puts on a awesome performance and has a band with him to rock out. I thought it was cool that he covered multiple popular radio hits that everyone knew the words to. That way if your friend had you come along and familiar with much of his music, you could still sing along. The remainder of this tour in the US is sold-out, but for those in the UK and Ireland you can still get tickets here.

Cam Meekins releases a new track exclusively with FNT that’s a spinoff of Purity Ring’s “Odebear”. I dig the way Cam went in on this one. He has grown so much as an artist since his days of Dancing With The Stars. I was also able to get Cam on the line for my “On The Spot” interview. We talk a ton of different topics such as 3D movies, his longest road trip, who makes the best french fries, the free album and more. We are only 2 weeks away from the release of :) :/ :( so be on the lookout for that here when it drops!

I recently had the opportunity to interview Kid Ink while he was performing in Minneapolis, MN. I hit him with my “On The Spot” interview to see what kind of responses I would get.
