Wow, Doug Bogan really came through with a great mashup. Clutter is word I use often when I hear mashups, Doug used a lot of parts for this mashup, but it works really well. The track stays consistant, which seems to be the issue with many mashups recently. Below the track I have provided the list he used for this sweet mash.

This track sounds like it could be a collaboration between Daft Punk and Justice, but it’s not. Although Daft Punk had a little mash of the vocals in there Alive 2007 live album, it is a bootleg remix from a duo that resides in the UK known as NAPT. This style of funk/electro is like sex in your ears to say the least. Everyone should check this track out and show them some love on FACEBOOK.

Another quality mash from the man, DJ21azy. I think he does these mashups right by using classic hip-hop instead of jumping on a Adele song or using Levels, but hey that’s just me. Anyway the mash is Pac’s 16 on death row and Atmosphere’s trying to find a balance. Support the dude with his Facebook page and definitely watch out for more mashes to come.

For this week’s SFS DOSVEC mashes together Coldplay’s Paradise and DJ Fresh’s Gold Dust. DOSVEC switches up the vibe with this one, using the soothing vocals from Paradise, then quickly boosting the energy with some heavy basslines over the Gold Dust vocals. The White Panda unleashes this heavenly mash of Wale and Dillion Francis. Some artists acapella’s sound good over anything. Wale is one of those artists. I’m not sure what it is, but when you put Wale’s vocals over fast, funky, dance beats, the result is always audio gold.
