Bass, House | Lektrique Drops EP With Epic Sam Lamar Collab

Posted by on September 6, 2018

The Belgian producer Lektrique has long been a creative that has pushed bass music forward despite not being a name that everyone may recognize at first mention. The Kannibalen Records mainstay and radio host is taking his career to the next level, not only with epic tracks including the two that make up his Black Magic EP, but he has recently moved to Los Angeles to hold things down on the West coast. Now, the move doesn’t work for everyone, but given his talents and the success he’s already had, he’s set to flourish. Just take this first project since the relocation as an example of what’s to come. Both tracks, including the Sam Lamar collab, are next level and we’re sure to see the bar raise even further soon.

Electro | Kannibalen Records Starts 2018 Off With “Laidback” by Lektrique

Posted by on January 24, 2018

Kannibalen Records has been steadily growing over the years and it’s looking like 2018 is going to be their biggest yet. They’re starting off the year with their first release, a new jam from their Belgian producer Lektrique who some may know as the host of Kannibalen Radio. “Laidback” has a retro feel to it despite the futuristic basslines that Lektrique has come to be known for. The blending of the old with new has been done before, but few can pull it off as good as Lektrique does. If you get a chance, make sure to check him out live on the BTSM Ceremony Tour this year.

Electro-House, House | Lektrique Goes 80’s Retro With Vibrant New EP

Posted by on December 1, 2017

Lektrique has had an amazing 2017. The Belgian producer toured the US for the first time and has grown Kannibalen Radio as one of the best tastemaking music podcasts on the web. Not to mention he’s released some incredible tunes, including his latest project that features two 80’s inspired hits. TURBO sees Lektrique bring his electro sound with new flash and flare, while NEON sees him breaking genre bounds and slowing down the BPMs from TURBO. Together these two tracks are magnificent, lending themselves to be easily synced for a major Hollywood sci-fi. Don’t be surprised if that ends up happening!

Electro | Proxy & Lektrique Bring Back Electro With “Break Your Skull”

Posted by on August 16, 2017

If you like Rezz, then you are going to love “Break Your Skull” by Proxy and Lektrique. Not only did they deliver that single through Kannibalen Records, but it comes with a B-side that is a must-listen also. Together these tracks form the Break Your Skull EP that just might live up to its name. Be careful, the bass on these could crack some heads, especially if headbanging is your main dance move. Proxy and Lektrique’s styles fit together perfectly, which comes as no surprise as they are Russia and Belgium’s finest when it comes to dance music.

Electro-House, Videos | Lektrique Is The Chosen One In New “Shred” Music Video

Posted by on April 20, 2017

Often times producers don’t just have the talent of making music. They often have hobbies on the side and for Lektrique, his is skateboarding. Followers of his social media are familiar with his aptitude for tearing up the street with his gnarly moves; if you don’t follow him, you should. Not only should you for his fine tricks, but for his music. Although there are no tricks in his new video for the single “Shred,” we get a nice little story to augment the ferocious electro original. Complete with a cameo from Black Tiger Sex Machine of Kannibalen Records, this is nothing more than a playful expansion to an already fun project. Enjoy the video and head over to iTunes or whatever store you prefer for a copy.
