Dubstep | Killsonik — Bloodlust EP

Posted by on May 28, 2012

When was the last time you came across a track that was classified as “Horrorstep”? One of the tracks from Killsonik’s new EP “Bloodlust” is just that. If you haven’t encountered the video, you can check it out HERE. I can’t tell you how happy I was when they announced the release of this EP. Before that time Killsonik only had one track which was a remix to Nero’s Crush On You. Then a few weeks ago we saw a remix of Chase and Status’s Flashing Lights, that appeared out of nowhere. The two tracks on this EP are both at completely different styles from one another, which is why it makes the EP so appealing. Girly, being a UK Garage/Grime/Deep Dubstep fusion styled track that has some monstrous synths and sounds incorporated into a funky-evil track. Yes, that is a lot of styles meshed into one track. With Bloodlust, you have a powerful bass-driven, LOUD, dubstep track. This track almost has two drops built into one another. The first being a subtle, yet somewhat heavy drop, then after a slight calming of the track, they bring it back with an ear-piercing drop to melt you ears shut. Being a witness of this being played live; I can tell you that it leaves crowds in a state of shock. Grab this EP on Beatport HERE.

Contests, Hip-Hop, Videos | Na Palm – She Like That ft. Machine Gun Kelly [Music Video & Giveaway]

Posted by on March 20, 2012

[do action=”youtube” videoid=”OAhwvvFXOIc”/]

Without further ado, I present Na Palm’s brand new, highly anticipated video, “She Like That” featuring Bad Boy’s own and 2012 XXL Freshman, Machine Gun Kelly.  This high octane club anthem features production from Na’el Shehade of ForceOneSeven and the video itself was shot and directed by Crank Strap.  As expected, Na Palm and MGK go hard as always, providing a visual tutorial on how to properly rage.  We all know Dirty Girls and Dirty Beats are the recipe for Nay’s success and this new video is the epitome of just that.

“She Like That” was featured on Na Palm’s last mixtape “Late At Night”, but the “Dirty Dub Remix” will be featured on his debut album, Electronic Chronic, tentatively due in late April/early May.

As promised, here are directions to win an exclusive Na Palm swag bag full of fresh merch, including apparel, a pill shaped USB drive, CD’s, & more! UPDATE: Nay just informed me that he’s willing to give away TWO prize packs, so complete one or both of the options below to enter up to two times!

Electro-House, Girl Fire, Pop | Felix Cartal – Black to White (feat. Miss Palmer)

Posted by on March 7, 2012

I wasn’t remotely sure how to categorize Felix Cartal’s feel-good banger last time around, so we’re covering all conceivable bases here and going with electro-house-pop-girl fire. “Black to White” is now out on Dim Mak and is completely worthy of your 99 cents. This track is built for the dance floor and coming soon to a packed bar near you. Peep the hook and you’ll know what I mean.

Dubstep, Electro | LIGHTS – Siberia (The SoniXx Remix)

Posted by on December 8, 2011

It has been quite some time since the last time posted The SoniXx, but in no way are they a stranger to FNT. Currently LIGHTS is holding a remix contest for her track Eyes, so you can imagine my surprise when I saw The SoniXx decided to drop this remix. I love it when artists blend electro and dubstep together, it’s like a match made in heaven. The SoniXx cooked up another great remix.

Electro, Videos | De-Lor- Renegade x You Got It All

Posted by on July 8, 2011

Thought that’d be the last time you saw the sensation that is De-Lor on FreshNewTracks? Nah, think again. If you haven’t noticed, we’re pretty good at sizing up talent quickly. (See Collin McLoughlin) We’re still waiting on a big label to call and hire us already, but I digress.

That being said, De-Lor offers two new tracks. The first, “Renegade” which is a smooth r&b/electro track accompanied by the “making of” visuals above. The second track, “You Got It All” is definitely a banger for your Friday night. Whether you’re into baby making music or you’re wanting to rage, De-Lor has you covered. Shout out to the lovely Stephanie for sending these over. For more information on De-Lor, hit him on Facebook here.
