With a tone set for subliminal sadness, LeeLee Haxi goes against the grain with her new trap tinged R&B hip-hop enthused project Until Then. With a unique style, LeeLee creates a sound perfect for kicking back and getting lost in some therapeutic thought. It’s clear she has been keeping an ear to the streets as she has been crafting her sound. Be sure to keep your eyes and ears on her.
LeeLee is not new to Fresh New Tracks, but this is the premiere of the first full mixtape project from the NYC singer/songwriter, featuring a song produced by non other than Monsta Beatz Music. Check out her latest single Pull Up which released this past Thanksgiving on iHipHop’s A3C Vol. 6 Mixtape. She has some more heat dropping soon and is heavily featured on Young Roddy and Trademark da Skydiver’s album, Family Business dropping this friday, and also featured on veteran producers Shelco Garcia and Teenwolf’s upcoming record Sky High on Mixmash Records coming December 12th.

This coming Labor Day weekend Chicago will be host to one of the most eclectic line-ups 2016 has seen. Curated and organized by the folks at React Presents (the same promoters behind Spring Awakening) NCMF is known for booking a combination of EDM dj’s, Hip Hop acts and Jam and Indie bands. This year is no exception, with top acts such as Bassnectar, Action Bronson, Zedd, Logic and Umphree’s Mcgee there is enough musical diversity to satiate all of your sonic tastes.

I am pretty blown away by the strength of this tune, and I really wanted to share this amazing duo from Canada. Heavy hip hop influence with cool soulful vocals, this is an amazing tune to just blast while you’re driving. Pretty upset how long this one has been sitting in my inbox, I have been slacking lately. Making his FNT debut with Cocaine Cinderella is Jute$. The Toronto based Jute$ has an extremely unique sound that really connected with me. Despite being mostly a hip hop/ pop/ alternative listener in 2016, back in the day I grew up on a lot of alternative rock/emo/scream music. Jute$ brought back all the feels with Cocaine Cinderella as it reminded me of an eclectic blend of Blackbear, Mod Sun and some of my favorite alternative bands from way way wayyyyy back.
