Perth’s very own Elk Road flaunts his talent in his latest single “Come Down” on Lowly Palace, expertly blending his soft, high-pitched vocal range with dark, moody instrumentals that together create an evocative soundscape.
The track follows on from “Hanging By A Thread,” which featured in Triple J’s Hottest 100 of 2016 and has been streamed over 1.5 million times. Already having played stages around Australia including Splendour In The Grass and Vivid Festival, we’re excited to see Elk Road expand his reach worldwide in 2017.

Australian producer Elk Road hit me with his latest remix of Charli XCX’s “Boom Clap,” and being a sucker for the original, see me singing the hook as loud as possible when it drops, I had to give it a listen. Off the bat, I was carried by the rolling bass and guitar, and once you’re in it, it sounds like a trippy adventurous mysterious epic dream, to which you’re the hero.
