Following 2014’s release of Backwards Books, which was released through Brainfeeder, Los Angeles rapper Azizi Gibson returns with his best work to date. preHISTORIC Till Death is Azizi Gibson’s debut project on Waka Flocka-owned management company, 36BRICKHOUSE. In the album’s first 24 hours on the web, it has peaked at #12 on the iTunes hip-hop charts and #68 overall, which is impeccable for an independent artist. The project spans multiple levels of tempo, intensity, and subject matter right from the get-go. With his love for Dragon Ball Z being evident, Azizi appropriately reels in a feature from Christopher Sabat, who did multiple voiceovers on DBZ.
