No doubt about it, Adventure Club is dropping bombs lately. This most recent addition to their growing repertoire is markedly different from the last string of mixes they’ve released — “Need Your Heart” has an upbeat, summery vibe and features some funky vocals from Kai that work perfectly with that heavy beat. My weekend started last night at Bro Safari’s Bros Gone Wild tour (more on that later) but this song is definitely getting me in that Friday mindset.

It’s safe to say that Adventure Club has crushed it this week. First they brought us “Wait”, a track which I think we can all agree is absolutely killer, but since that apparently wasn’t enough they’ve now teamed up with the talented ladies (and gentleman) of Krewella to take us on another gripping musical journey. “Rise & Fall” starts out with a slow, melodic piano riff and floaty, plaintive vocals before abruptly changing course and slamming right into a heavy, visceral drop. They build skillfully on the early tension as the track progresses, ultimately driving the synths to a positively fierce crescendo in the song’s concluding moments. No two ways about it; this is a must download. Keep an eye out for Adventure Club this summer if you’re planning on hitting the festival circuit.

Krewella EP Announcement
Krewella has also taken time today to announce the release of their debut EP, “Play Hard.” The video above actually plays a snippet of the title track. The trio has done a lot of great work in the past and I’m sure that this EP will be just as awesome as everything we’ve seen from them to date. “Play Hard” is officially set for an exclusive Beatport release on June 18th.

Adventure Club has done it again. Supplying us with another one of their melodic dubstep masterpieces entitled “Wait”. It’s tough to deny this duo’s talent, and this track has summer written all over it. The vocals go hand in hand with the amazing, smooth basslines that has made these guys so highly known. The track almost switches back and forth from electro to dubstep, which brings a whole new level of energy and excitement. I can’t wait for these guys to release an EP.

While I’m currently going through a seriously grimy DnB phase, I’m still a huge sucker for melodic, lyrical dubstep and it’s pretty much no secret. Adventure Club? Done. Blackmill? Yes please. Accordingly, I was very excited to come across “I Need You” this afternoon, as Rameses B absolutely nails the romantic side of the genre. The wistful, breathless vocals, raindrop-esque synths, and lush chord progressions make this beautiful track a must listen. “I Need You” is available for purchase on UK iTunes (chafey.) and some website I’ve never heard of called “Juno” that…well, at least looks legit. Adventure Club brings their trademark wobbles to this moody, deceptively chilled out remix. Really feeling the almost hypnotic way they’ve chopped the vocals in counterpoint to the background synths towards the end of the track. I’ve been very impressed by everything Adventure Club has put out lately and definitely think we’ll be seeing a lot more of these guys in 2012….

Great new track from the guys of Adventure Club (probably best known for their awesome remix of “Crave You”) that features an infectious hook and a synthy electro sound that’s simultaneously hard but effortless and chilled out…if that even makes sense. I like how seamless the drop is. This is a good one to blast while driving around after dark.

I can say without a doubt that Netsky is one of the top producers in Drum N’ Bass currently. Whatever this guy’s name is on is straight fire. Although this song is a little played out for my taste, Netsky just put it back into my playlist with this sick VIP remix. The only problem is it comes out on Novemeber 28th.
With Kaskade dropping his new album Fire & Ice, it only felt right to post a remix of one of his songs. Although Kaskade and Deadmau5 released this song a while ago, Catalyst is bringing it back in style. He has a history of dropping heavy dubstep remixes and he surely didn’t disappoint with this one. Dubstep + Female vocals = Banger.

Adventure Club is good about dropping new tracks, but I feel like their past few drops before were not up to par. I can happily say that they are back with another amazing melodic dubstep remix.
