Following the major hype from the program’s kickoff Spark Party on April 6th, which celebrated and honored trap pioneer and Atlanta Pack Night headliner, Gucci Mane, the Swisher Sweets Artist Project has finally released the highly anticipated lineups and Pack Night Tour for 2018. Heading to Los Angeles, Detroit, Philadelphia, Atlanta and Houston, this year the Artist Project will be taking over SIX of America’s most lit cities for a night they won’t forget.

Swisher Sweets Artist Project has opened submissions for New Talent to apply to perform at a 2018 Pack Night. Swisher Sweets is seeking 3 artists native to each market to open for today’s hottest performers in: Los Angeles, Detroit, Philadelphia, Atlanta and Houston. The application period will close on March 6th, and 15 artists – three from each Pack Night city – that best meet the criteria will be chosen. Swisher’s new application process can be found here.

Events | Swisher Sweets Is Bringing You Cardi B In New Orleans On December 29th

The Swisher Sweets Artist Project announced today that GRAMMY® nominated rap/hip hop artist Cardi B and avant-garde rapper Machine Gun Kelly will perform at the NOLA Takeover on December 29 at the Joy Theater. They will be joined by New Orleans’ own DJ Mannie Fresh and more. Four previous Pack Night performers will be chosen by the fans to return as opening acts for the NOLA Takeover. Events | Billboard Hot 100 Festival Caps Off Fire Line Up With Marshmello, Cash Cash, and More

Billboard’s Hot 100 Music Festival is returning this summer to Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater, in New York. The NY-based festival, set for August 19-20, is complete with an epic lineup featuring artists across multiple genres. However, the festival’s roster of electronic acts truly stands out with headliners Major Lazer and Zedd in addition to the recently added Marshmello. With over 50 acts including 3LAU, Justin Caruso,  Cash Cash, and more performing across 4 different stages, this festival is absolutely going to be one of the most anticipated weekends of the summer.

Events | DTLA: 13th Zodiac Is Throwing A Party, You Need To Be There

13th Zodiac and Kingworm Productions. You don’t know them yet. In time you will. They’re throwing an awesome warehouse party in downtown Los Angeles on June 2nd. They’re making their debut with acts like Dillon Nathaniel, LondonBridge, and Boots N Pants. The event is five hours of house music and pure unbridled fun. The event is 18+ with a bar (hey now!) if you’re of legal drinking age. The best part? The entry is free before 10:30 PM. If you’re in Los Angeles and you’re looking for house music, head on down to the “The Wormhole” on the 2nd. You won’t be disappointed.

Events | SXSW Announces Industry Panel: ‘How to Develop an Electronic Artist: Matoma’

With SXSW just a few days away, we thought we’d bring to your attention a noteworthy industry panel that discusses a topic most electronic music fans would be curious to learn about: ‘How to Develop an Electronic Artist: Matoma‘. Over the past couple years, Matoma’s online and live presence has skyrocketed. The tropical house artist has garnered hundreds of millions of plays on Spotify and is one of the most streamed artists in the world. He recently sold out Terminal 5 in New York with support from Two Friends and Aston Shuffle.

On this SXSW panel are Billboard’s Senior Dance Editor Matt Medved, Matoma’s agent Ferry Rais-Shaghaghi from APA, Tom (Matoma) himself and more. The panel will be taking place on March 16 from 5pm to 6pm. Moreover, Matoma has recently announced a “Matoma & Friends” official SXSW showcase at Kingdom on March 17 that will go on from 9pm to 2am. We’re absolutely fired up for Dancing Pineapple‘s NYC debut.

The feel-good house curator and concert brand hosts their debut concert in New York, and they are bringing out multi-platinum dance music star Jonas Blue, supported by Ultra’s Ashworth. The show, co-hosted by events platform Tablelist, is on Thursday, November 3rd at the legendary house club Cielo NYC.

Dancing Pineapple has been making huge strides in taking feel-good melodic house to the mainstream. This will be their penultimate show of the calendar year full of sold out bangers, so you won’t want to miss this.
