Kap Slap is back with his HIGHLY anticipated mixtape, “Bootie Bundle Vol. 2.” Last year he graced us with the first installment of this mixtape and he’s back at it again with 15 EDM bootlegs featuring a wide variety of samples and tracks. You can listen to the whole mixtape below and download it as well!

Bootleg, Electro | The Temptations – Cloud Nine (FKJ Remix)

The Temptations X FKJ

Here’s a lil re interpretation of a classic mo town track by the Temptations, curtesy of FKJ. French Kiwi Juice has be doing his thang over there in the great city of Parîs for a while now, but this remix is just too funky to overlook. With its original bootleg over some bumpin’ kicks and groovy chords, this song will certainly strike those strings in your ears that will make you feel some type of way.

Bootleg | Beyonce x Martin Garrix x Lazy Rich – Drunk Animals (Kap Slap Bootleg)

One, this cover might be the best artwork we’ve seen. Two, holy shit Kap Slap.

All of your guilty pleasures throw into one track…if you’re like BIGLIFE and love “Timber,” this is your new favorite song – Kap Slap crushes as usual.

Refreshing. And that’s not describing my Starbucks Coffee that I’m currently drinking. Tim Gunter’s new take on ASTR’s cover of “Hold on We’re Going Home” is refreshing, bone-chilling, and majestic. Slowing down the beat and allowing the beautiful vocals to really shine through shows Tim’s brilliance and it’s always great to hear a new take on a song we’ve heard so many times yet still love. Make sure to show Tim some love on his Facebook and Soundcloud below and also to peep the song too. Big things for this guy in the future, and with every new release he reaffirms my claim even more.

Bootleg, Review | Miles Medina: New Fame, New Track

Miles Medina, the 26-year-old breakout artist from the San Francisco-Bay Area gave us some time on the phone the other day to talk about his career so far, what’s going on now, and what we can look for in the future.

Following a burst of fame after the release of his “My Neck My Back” remix, Miles had artists all over the map throwing down his track. He even went on to describe it as a “staple” in Lil Jon’s set for a while, and that it was rumored EDM legend Diplo had spun it a few times. Check out the banger for yourself:

Just a couple of months later, Miles would release another hard-hitting remix of Rich Boy’s “Throw Some D’s,” gaining him even more visibility. Shortly after this, he signed on to Monster Products as an official artist, just in time to close out 2013. Since then, he’s performed in a variety of venues, such as the Soundscape Music Festival in Tahoe, playing alongside the likes of ETC!ETC!, DJ Chuckie, Borgore, and Carnage. His performing experience spans beyond his solo career, however, doing shows with Mad Decent-featured and SF-native producer Panic City under the alias URFRIENDS. When asked how his time in the limelight will affect the duo, Miles commented that he and Panic City have “told each other that they are never going to stop doing URFIRENDS,” and “it’s never going to fall apart.”

Just this past week, Miles released a new track that encompasses a variety of  genres, creating a fully developed sound that will no doubt go off in the club. The remix of Gorilla Zoe’s “Hood N***a” is up for free download on Miles’ Facebook page (and it’s definitely worth it if you’re looking to turn up a little bit). We asked Medina what we could look for in the coming months, and he said he plans to release tracks at least once or twice per month, and to look out for some “big,” unnamed collaborations. Don’t forget to give Miles a follow on his social media outlets: you won’t be disappointed.
