DMV based rapper GoldLink has been quiet, not releasing much new music aside from some demo tracks on Christmas day. Here to fill the void is the powerful trio of artists, Gravez, Drewsthatdude, and Scolla. The production style stays true to what we’ve come to know from Gravez, however, Drew and Scolla give it a smooth R&B twist.
It will be exciting to see Gravez transform his remix success in to something greater in 2015. Here’s to more collaboration between this talented roster of musicians.

I know we see the names Oliver Heldens and Tchami thrown thrown out there when discussing the up and comers of bass music, but one man who should be included in the mix is UK producer Tom Bull, who’s been receiving support from the likes of Oliver Heldens and Disclosure with his infectious house remixes, and his latest take on Ayah Marar’s “Mind Controller” off her solo album The Real is no different, and quite honestly a smash. The classic dance take on the drum and bass driven “Mind Controller” makes for an eargasm, and I can only hope these two get together for some original tunes! This is a must listen!

Gotta love organic finds, and DJ Panic City was in luck today, as he managed to get my attention while I forgot to log out of the FNT twitter account, and yes this remix of him, URFriends, and Miles Medina is marking the spot, and keeping me warm on this polar vortex eve, full of vibes, bass, retro-feels, and grooves. I’m glad I found this one, this is a must listen and a must download!

As usual, you really have no idea what you’re about to get into when pressing play on a brand new Mat Zo track – and that’s exactly why we have a bit of a broner for the dude. His bi-weekly Mat Zo Mixes (see Soundcloud) are the epitome of “Doin It Live” – this track confirms that Mat Zo isn’t about genre restrictions. Damage Control quite possibly was one of the best albums to put EDM onto its ass in the last decade and the producer/dj is showing no signs of exhaustion. He’s getting ready to hit the road and break-in his brand new label, Mad Zoo in the coming months – here’s an exquisite taste of what to expect.

You guys are in for a treat with this one, Christofi & Glenn Michaels dropped a hard future house/bass remix of Mary J Blige’s “Real Love,” and this is going to be on repeat for me for the rest of the afternoon! If you’re trying to get your cardio up, I suggest you bust a move to this revisited dance classic by the R&B legend, all this is missing is some 90’s aerobics video to accompany it, and it’d be the full package, if you’re seeing what I’m saying, I’m personally going to bust out the old neon jump suit for this one, it’s a must listen and a must download!
