I dont think summer is over just yet! Enjoy the rest of the sunlight on the east coast, head outside, grab your sunglasses, and sit back and enjoy the hot sounds of Shallou! Easily one of the amazing up and coming talents, originating from Chicago, home of some of the best up and comers. Summer isn’t over with Skeleton, it just shouts that we’re still enjoying the relaxing vibes of the summer months. New to me, but definitely a favorite here with the beautiful vocals and rhythmic drums. Make sure you checkout more tunes by Stefan Alexander here, and lookout for much more from this newcomer.

Ambient, Electronic, Hip-Hop, House | SiDizen King Reminisces on Dillon Francis and Kygo’s “Coming Over”

Future hiphop luminary SiDizen King has continued to captivate listeners since he released his debut single “One Day” this past May. His experimental mix of rap and electronic is unbelievably clever, quick, and polished, brilliantly shining through the musical efforts of the same blend from other artists. This is once again illuminated in his latest remix of Dillon Francis and Kygo’s “Coming Over” featuring James Hersey. This fusion of hip hop and tropical house is seamless, as SiDizen King’s silky smooth cadences bring a new light into the original, giving off the perfect mood for some late-night listening.

Australian producer Callan Alexander aka cln just dropped his new single, “Mist”, alongside announcing his North American tour. “Mist” gives a taste of the cln’s upcoming EP which will be released in October. Cln says that the lyrics don’t have any specific meaning, but channels the feeling of “waking up in a freezing cold tent, then heading to climb a mountain” which he says is one of the best feelings in the world – and after listening to this track I’d say I have to agree! Check out “Mist” now and be sure to catch one of cln’s shows if your in the area, you won’t regret it!

Alternative, Ambient | LaDonnis – Liar

Posted by on July 6, 2016

I literally cannot stop listening to this new tune I discovered! LaDonnis is probably the smoothest new voice on Fools Gold, and I couldn’t be more excited about this tune. Liar is so fun to listen to, and I think its gonna get remixed big time. I don’t want to make a Kid Cudi analogy here, but it kinda reminds me of what he used to be. Check back in, cause I am gonna definitely share my favorite LaDonnis tunes as they are out!

Ambient, Chill | Listen To DUX’s Cinematic Alien Funk

Posted by on July 1, 2016

When “Diana” by DUX hit my inbox on Tuesday night I was too busy to listen, but I finally got a minute to listen through this morning and I was blown away. Jonah McLean aka DUX is an L.A. native who only has two songs to date, and they’re getting better every listen through. While I enjoy his debut release “Responsible,” last weeks drop “Diana” is my personal favorite due to how calming it is. Staight bad ass vibes, feel like it’d fit in the soundtrack to Drive.
