BPM Festival Phase 2 Lineup Announcement
Posted by Middy on November 29, 2012
The BPM Festival may not be on many of your festival radars, but it should be. As the winter descends on us and the cold becomes more and more of a constant in our lives, moving southward has an enourmous appeal. The BPM festival on the sunny beaches of Playa Del Carmen, Mexico gives you a chance for 10 days to escape the cold reality of wherever you live (unless it is warm) and enjoy some top notch house music. The lineup is absolutely stacked with huge underground (oxymoron?) names and traditional house and techno guys like Sven Vath, Marco Carola, Danny Tenaglia, John Digweed, Jamie Jones, Richie Hawtin, Carl Cox, Mark Knight, Dubfire, Luciano, Seth Troxler, Sasha, Loco Dice… I think you get the point. There are also names like Third Party, Sander van Doorn and Thomas Gold, who I am interested to see how they would fare in this environment and wonder if they would adapt their sets to the festival or just go at it like it was their normal time slot. Anyway, tickets are on sale now in groupings of 3 day, 7 day and 10 day tickets, with single day tickets going on sale tomorrow. Prices vary from $200 for the 3 day to $600 for the 10 day. The full daily schedule is after the jump.
