Avicii – Live in Albany, NY

Posted by on September 14, 2011

After Cazzette’s closing track at about 11 p.m. at the Albany Armory on September 12th, all that could be heard was the loud and constant chanting of the nights main attraction, progressive house artist/producer, Avicii. Opening with “Fade into Darkness,” a pulsing crowd sang along and all were already assured it was going to be a good night.

Check out the rest of the review and many more photos after the jump:

The bass blared for the next three hours of the set as Avicii dropped crowd favorites such as “My Feeling For You,” and of course, “Levels.” Transitioning smoothly from track to track the twenty two year old electronic DJ had proved himself legendary once again. The light show also did not fail to impress as it was perfectly synchronized to every beat, melody, and drop. The mainly young crowd he had attracted had all hands in the air and were energetically dancing for the duration of the entire set. With huge fog and confetti machines going off at any given moment, the excitement and energy were only increasing.

A little past 1 a.m. and the crowd couldn’t stop yelling at the top of their lungs “One last song!” Once again, Avicii had dropped hit after hit and left his audience mesmerized. If you didn’t catch him in Albany, it’s strongly recommended not to miss such a great set and environment again!
